Back from sunny Florida and continuing the journey with LadyDarke #4! By the way, if you want to cut to the chase and read the whole story at once, the high-quality digital PDF is available on my webstore here:

LadyDarke #4 Digital
DARKE BEGINNINGS continues! It all comes to a head in the penultimate issue of LadyDarke’s blockbuster first arc.
Pages 12 and 13! Double-page splash! Tension, tension, and tension has all led up to this. Finally, after near-misses and cat-and-mouse chases, Shadow Shot and LadyDarke finally clash face-to-face.
They spar with weapons and words. Shadow Shot is a serious dude who lives a serious life, one that’s centered on doing mostly bad things in bad places surrounded by bad people. To borrow from the great Tommy Lee Jones, he does not sanction LadyDarke’s buffoonery lightly.
LadyDarke, on the other hand, is not impressed. She’s been to the Darke Realms and back, has battled ancient demons, reanimated skeletons (see issue #2!), and more. A mercenary dude with some weapons doesn’t do much to instill fear in her.
Not just two characters, but two worlds colliding here. Neither fully grasping how intertwined their stories will become in the future…
